The plate extender is not only used to extend base plates, which is very practical if suddenly an additional hexagon is needed.

With the Plate-Extender, base plates can also be arranged at an angle to each other, which results in interesting building possibilities.

Due to the construction, the connection with the lugs in the base plates is "not quite as firm", if the lugs are in the Plate-Extender, it is more stable. To connect several Plate-Extenders together, gentle but firm pressure is required.
